From measuring to proof, in four steps that repeat every week.
Citable doesn’t stop at writing articles. It measures what AI tools say about you, works out why they recommend someone else, acts on it for you and then checks whether it worked. Here is every step, what Citable does and what you decide.

Citable isn’t just an AI article writer. It measures what AI tools say about you, works out why they recommend someone else, acts on it for you and then checks whether it worked.
A few minutes to set up, then it runs on its own.
No keyword spreadsheets and no prompts to write. We read your site and propose the rest; you edit it.

First check
The first measurement starts right away, with a technical check of your site.
Connect when you’re ready (all optional)
Your CMS
WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Shopify, Ghost, Notion or a webhook, to publish articles.
Your inbox
Gmail or Outlook, so outreach emails go out from your own address.
Visits
A cookieless script, or Google Analytics 4, to count visits from AI.
Search Console
Read-only, to find pages that almost make it.
See if AI recommends you, and who it recommends instead.
Every week we ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode the questions your buyers ask, several times each. You see how often the answers name you and link to your site, next to your competitors, as a likely range rather than a guess. We only say “up” or “down” when the change is bigger than the normal wobble.
Citable does
- Reads your site and suggests your competitors and the questions your buyers ask
- Asks 15 to 60 questions (by plan) several times in each AI tool, every week
- Keeps every answer, with the brands it names and the pages it cites
You decide
- Which questions and competitors to track
- Which countries and languages matter
Find out why AI picks someone else, question by question.
Open any number and read the AI’s answer. We point out the questions your competitors win, the sites AI trusts when it answers, what it says about you (and where it’s wrong) and anything on your site that stops AI crawlers from reading it.
Questions your competitors win
Where AI recommends others and not you, with a suggested action.
The sites AI trusts
The third-party pages behind each answer: reviews, lists, forums, press.
What AI says about you
Facts about your business, checked against your own brand data.
Can AI read your site?
34 technical checks every week, from robots.txt per AI crawler to text without JavaScript.
Citable does
- Ranks the questions you lose, starting with the ones you can win
- Lists the pages AI cites and the brands they name
- Checks AI’s claims about you against your brand facts
- Runs a technical audit with fixes for your platform
You decide
- Which gaps to go after first
- Your brand facts: what’s true about your business
Act on it, mostly on autopilot, with a window to say no.
Every gap becomes a concrete task in Actions. Citable writes sourced articles in your voice and publishes them to your CMS, improves pages you already have and emails the sites AI cites. Nothing goes out without a review window you can use to stop it.
Articles that publish themselves
Sourced and in your voice, published to your CMS after a 3-day window, at most one a day.
Better pages you already have
A direct answer, FAQ or TL;DR added to your key pages, with a backup and 7 days to undo.
Outreach to the sites AI cites
We find the author and draft a personal email that goes out from your inbox. LinkedIn too.
Directories and Google profile
The directories you should be on and, for local businesses, your profile next to the top 3.
Autopilot, with safeguards
- Zero verification errors to publish
- You approve the first 3 by hand
- 3-day window with a “Don’t publish” email
- At most one a day
- Undo for 7 days
- Pause or drafts only, anytime

Citable does
- Plans articles from measured gaps and real search demand
- Writes, fact-checks and publishes them to your CMS
- Proposes and applies improvements to your existing pages
- Researches each cited site, drafts the email and sends it from your inbox
You decide
- Autopilot, or review before anything goes out
- You approve the first ones by hand; after that, a window to stop anything
- Pause everything with one click
Check that it worked, with data, not promises.
The next week we ask the same questions again. Each published article tells you which AI tools cite it and since when, and how many visits arrive from ChatGPT, Perplexity and others. Every Monday you get a summary; agencies get a report with their own brand for each client.
The effect of each article
Which AI tools cite it since it went live, and the visits it brings.
Visits from AI
Visits from AI assistants and where they land, counted without cookies.
A report anyone understands
What went up, what went down and what hasn’t clearly changed yet.
Agency mode
A monthly email to each client with your logo, and a read-only link.
Citable does
- Measures again every week, with the same rules
- Links each change to what was done that week
- Sends the Monday summary and, for agencies, monthly client reports
You decide
- Who gets the reports
- What to do next, with the next suggestions in hand
What Citable does for you while you do something else.

Autopilot by default, never without a way out.
Articles, page improvements and outreach all work the same way. Pick how much Citable does on its own, per site, and change it whenever you like.
Autopilot
The default. You approve the first ones by hand; after that each item goes out after a review window, with an email to stop it.
Review before it goes out
Citable prepares everything and waits: articles arrive as drafts in your CMS, and emails wait until someone on your team approves them.
Pause
Stops everything for a site in one click. It also pauses itself if your CMS or inbox fails.
Questions about how it works
What people ask before they start. If something’s missing, write to us.
Write to usIs Citable just an AI article writer?
No. Articles are one of the things it does. First it measures whether AI tools recommend you and why they pick someone else; then it acts in several ways (articles, improvements to your existing pages, outreach to the sites AI cites, directories and your Google profile); then it checks, with the same questions, whether anything changed.
What do I have to do each week?
Nothing, if you leave autopilot on. You approve the first articles and emails by hand so Citable learns what you like; after that each one goes out after a review window, and you get an email you can use to stop it. You can switch to reviewing every item, or to drafts only, at any time.
How long until I see results?
The first measurement starts as soon as you add your site: one answer per question and AI tool in minutes, the rest a little later. After that it repeats every Monday. AI tools take weeks to pick up new pages, so judge changes over a few weekly checks: we only call it “up” or “down” when it’s bigger than the normal wobble.
Which AI tools do you check?
ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Perplexity on every plan; Business adds Claude, and Grok is an add-on. Each question is asked several times per tool every week, because AI tools rarely give the same answer twice.
Do you promise I’ll be recommended?
No, and nobody honestly can. We show where you’re missing, act on the gaps you can win and show you, with a likely range, whether anything changed. If a change is within the normal wobble, we say “no clear change yet”.
Do you buy or swap links?
Never. No paid links, link exchanges, blog networks or fake reviews. Outreach is a personal email to the author of a page AI already cites, asking them to consider you on the merits.
See what AI says about you, then fix it.
