Make sure AI can read your site, before you write another word.
If AI crawlers can’t reach your pages or read them without JavaScript, no article will get you cited. Citable checks it every Monday on your home page and your important pages, and tells you how to fix each thing on your own platform.

Citable reads your robots.txt the way each crawler does and separates the ones that matter for being cited (search crawlers and the ones that open a page when a user asks) from training crawlers. Blocking training is your choice and is never marked as an error; blocking search crawlers is.
- Search, user and training crawlers, kept apart
- Every check grouped by what it does to your visibility
- Free to run when you add your site, no card
A corrected robots.txt, with the minimum change.
When a search crawler is blocked, Citable gives you your own robots.txt back with only the change needed to let it in. Everything else stays as it was: comments, sitemaps, other rules and, above all, your decisions about training crawlers. The same goes for structured data: a block generated from what’s on your site, with placeholders where it can’t read a value.
- Your file, changed as little as possible
- Structured data generated from your own pages
- Nothing invented: missing data is left as a placeholder
Content without JavaScript, structured data and the basics.
Many AI crawlers don’t run JavaScript: if your text only appears after it runs, they see an empty page. The audit also checks indexing directives, structured data (organisation, website and articles), titles, descriptions, canonical tags, hreflang, the sitemap, HTTPS, redirects and speed.
- What blocks AI first, then what holds you back, then housekeeping
- Fixed and new issues compared with the previous audit
- Run it again whenever you fix something
Your key pages, scored one by one.
Besides the home page, the audit reviews your important pages: the ones AI cites, your published articles, the ones with pending improvements and those in your menu. Each gets a 0–100 score, plus checks of its own: structured data, a direct answer at the top of articles, broken internal links and a visible update date.
- Important pages per site: 25 on Starter, 50 on Growth and 100 on Business
- A score per page, with the same formula as the overall one
- Pages not reached in time say so, with no made-up score
Let your AI assistant apply the fix.
Every fix comes with plain-language steps for your platform (Framer, Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace…), how long it takes and how hard it is. If the change is in your site’s code or hosting, copy a step-by-step prompt for an AI assistant that can use your browser, and it will ask you before saving or publishing anything.
- Steps for your platform, with menu names
- Time and difficulty for every fix
- “I’ve fixed it, check again” to confirm on the spot

Content AI can’t read doesn’t exist for it.
Before content, there’s access. A single line in robots.txt or a page that only renders with JavaScript can make the rest of your work invisible to AI tools.
Access first
If search crawlers are blocked, AI tools can’t quote your pages, however good they are.
Your platform, your steps
Generic SEO advice is hard to apply. Each fix comes with the exact steps for the platform your site runs on.
Every week, not once
A theme update, a plugin or a new page can undo a fix. The Monday audit catches it and shows what changed.
Three steps, then it runs every week.
- 1
Add your site
The first audit runs during sign-up, for free and with no card.
- 2
Fix what blocks AI first
Issues are sorted by what they do to your visibility, each with its steps.
- 3
Check again every Monday
The audit repeats itself and compares with the previous one. You can also run it once an hour.
- Important pages reviewed per site (besides the home page)
- Starter: 25
- Growth: 50
- Business: 100

Adding your site and the technical audit are free, with no card. The weekly audit of your important pages runs on every plan.
Should I block AI training crawlers?
That’s your decision, and Citable never marks it as an error. What matters for being cited are the search crawlers and the ones that open a page when a user asks; those should be able to read your pages.
My site is on a hosted builder like Framer, Webflow, Wix or Shopify. Can I apply the fixes?
Yes. Each fix comes with steps for your platform, with the names of its menus, and text ready to paste where the platform allows it. Where a platform doesn’t allow a change (for example, editing robots.txt on some hosted builders), the audit says so.
Does llms.txt help me get cited?
Its effect on AI visibility hasn’t been shown. The audit reports it as information, not as an error, and the free generator says the same.
What does the prompt for my AI assistant do?
It copies step-by-step instructions for an assistant that can use your browser or computer. It applies the fix on your platform and asks for confirmation before saving or publishing anything. Then click “Check again” to confirm.
